If we're never too old for cartoons when it comes to our makeup, we're definitely forever young for silver-cast cartoon characters on our necks. In a cute new collab between Aaron Ruff, the designer behind jewelry line Digby & Iona, a staple in the arm/finger/neck party of many an R29-er, and Irish illustrator Oliver Jeffers, illustrated figures grow up with sleek lines and delicate details.
Based on characters from Jeffers' books, the two (who happen to share a studio space in Boerum Hill) created a line that's both lighthearted and lovely. From the playful little boy and penguin necklaces to the graphic (but still beautiful) heart in a bottle necklace, every piece in the collection is subtly childlike while still looking chic and refined. Can we get a collective awwww or what?
