There are a lot of makeup pros we idolize, but none elicits quite the beauty geek frenzy as Dick Page. The artistic director at Shiseido and all-around cosmetics badass is a fount of beauty tips. We caught up with him during Fashion Month to see what his latest and greatest new tricks are, and he raved to us about two beauty must-haves he's all about right now.

Like most everything that's cool right now, the first are an import from Asia: black cotton swabs. "A staple in my kit, these cotton swabs are super tightly wound so no little fibers come off them. I use them to correct lip lines, fix liner, clean up under the eyes — you name it."

Ever wonder how makeup artists create such full and beautifully defined brows? According to Page, it's not a pencil you need, but cream eyeshadow. He used Shiseido's Shimmering Cream Eye Colors in Leather, Sable, Shoyu, and Yuba to gently paint and fill in brows at practically every show he worked on this season. "They’re one of my favorite products. They're so easy to use, alone or blended with other colors, they’re long-lasting, and the shades are gorgeous. I love them as liners, shadows, brow color, and skin highlights."

We swear, every time we catch up with this man, we learn something new and very rad.

Shiseido Shimmering Creamy Eye Color in Leather, $25, available at Shiseido; Ricky's NYC Rickycare Black Cotton Swabs, $4, available at Ricky's NYC.
