For many of us, the phrase "1980's revival" elicits groans and diatribes about scrunchies and stirrup pants. But for some, including local designer Kelly Tang, the heyday of NKOTB and Hypercolor is a source of sartorial inspiration.
The Marymount University grad debuted her first collection last fall at D.C. Fashion Week, but just launched a full website over the weekend. She gave us a first look at some photos from her spring 2012 collection, and piqued our interest with bold graphic prints and a gorgeous colorblocked maxi-dress.
