Dangerously Delicious Pies
The name of this place says it all: Take one sweet bite from a Dangerously Delicious pie, and you might not be able to stop yourself from eating the whole thing at once. It’s no wonder that these H Street pie-makers won this year’s coveted title of Best Pie in the District in a Washington City Paper reader’s poll. The shop, owned by rock-'n'-roller-turned-baker Rodney Henry, makes sweet and savory “bad-ass pies,” and they do it all by hand. They’ve even got a food truck and late-night weekend hours. We say: Bring on the danger!
