When it comes to Converse collaborations, there can never be too much of a good thing. Having already teamed up with print and pattern experts Missoni and Marimekko, the iconic footwear label is no stranger to concocting fun, colorful, and comfortable sneaks. Truth be told, Comme des Garçons and Converse have paired up twice before, with each collection receiving rave reviews. The term "experts" would be an understatement.
So, we'll just say that the third time is even more of a charm. Today, Converse is launching the Comme des Garçons PLAY for Converse Pro Leather collection around the world. The more casual, streetwear-inspired line from Rei Kawakubo's Japanese label, Comme des Garçons PLAY, has put its signature heart-with-eyes logo all over four versions of the Converse Pro Leather sneaker. Available in milk and black shades, in Hi or Ox styles, the collection will be available online and in Comme des Garçons stores over the next few weeks, priced between $130 and $140.
