Chloë Sevigny's Flippy, '70s, Bro Hair is Actually Straight Out of 1994

Vice Magazine's latest issue is purportedly a lost edition dating from good ol' 1994 that they dug out from underneath the piles of broken 40s and Richard Kern negatives in their basement. Amidst the articles on My So-Called Life, zines, Riot Grrrls, Prozac Nation, and Pavement (seriously, the compendium of '90s memes is a little too perfect, if you catch our drift) is a little feature on the then 20-year-old Chloë Sevigny who we thought had better sense than to have hair modeled after Matthew Mcconaughey's in Dazed and Confused. Dressed in stylin' X-Girl paraphernalia, Kangol hats, and Adidas shell tops, Chloë traipses through the LA streets—we hope—in search of a better hairstylist. We're a little wigged out because we used to rock an unflattering crew-neck dress ourselves, but we appreciate this little time-warp to the '90s. We're just glad that her coif is a little better kempt today. (Vice)
