Pretty Bras That’ll Give Even The Most Petite-Sized Gals A Push
We all know about the plight of the buxom when it comes to finding a bra that fits correctly, but what about our smaller-chested sisters? Turns…Read More
Shop It NowStreet Style: Sundress Season Has Officially Arrived!

Who she is: Isabella
Where we spotted her: On Wabash Street in River North.
Why we love her: The least-complicated, most simple-to-style wardrobe staple in a Chicago girl's closet is the coveted sundress. It's the item we look forward to wearing with baited breath all year, and now summer is truly upon us. Isabella styled her AllSaints sundress simply, with a lace-up boot and earrings she probably got complimented on all day. What's your favorite summer sundress, and what accessories (if any) do you wear with it?

Street Style: Are Knee High Socks Cool Again?

Who she is: Falin
Where we spotted her: Downtown.
Why we love her: While we get a sense of awesome confidence from Falin that borders a little on badass, we're also quite taken with her style. We haven't spotted the knee high sock/chunky heel combo in awhile, so this was a nice surprise to spot on the Chicago streets. Her military-inspired jacket and pendant necklace are a little more current, though, so her look has balance. Is this a welcome blast from the past that you'll be trying, or did you get enough knee socks the first time around?

Style School: 7 Ways To Retire The Jeans-And-A-Button-Down Routine
Guys, we love you, but we need to talk. Going out on the town in Chicago is one of our favorite pastimes, but lately we're noticing a groundswell in the boring boy wardrobe department. The jeans and button-down shirts you're relying on could be so much more, when styled properly. We wouldn't bring this up unless we had examples, so we're about to show you seven photos (outfit ideas) snapped by our photog Amy Creyer at last night's Gold Coast cocktail party thrown by Mr. Porter.com. Click through, and take notes. Instead of stepping out in something expected, get a little creative (even adventurous) and turn a few heads.
Accessory Stalking: 20 Chic Adornments Spotted In Chi
If you live for accessories, well, join the club. The quest for the perfect necklace, bracelet, earrings, or ring is a never-ending story—and we don't mind. We can easily spend hours (err…days) pining away on Pinterest and clicking add-to-cart on web stores, but how much more inspiring are snaps of real Chicago gals taking to the streets in their favorite fashion extras?
We're getting pretty good at our stalking game, so we scoured the recently sunny Chi-town streets to bring back enough accessory inspiration to last all summer. Go ahead, let these 20 perfectly adorned pics light your sartorial fire today. Because the next time our cameras start clicking, they might just be focused on you!
Street Style: Don't Fear The Mega Stripe

Who she is: Elyse Vieni
Where we spotted her: Combing through vintage wares at the Randolph Street Market in the West Loop.
Why we love her: This, friends, is how you do a printed palazzo pant. The sometimes unflattering, consistently hard-to-style trousers can be a fashion girl's kryptonite, but our lovely street style subject has pulled them off seamlessly. The vertical stripes slim down the billowy shape, as vertical stripes love to do, and adding a bright violet blouse makes this outfit so perfectly spring. And, we love the way Elyse has loaded on the (self-made!) jewels — super unique rings, bracelets, and necklaces that give off the image of a seasoned vintage pro.

Street Style: The No-Tie-Necessary Office Outfit

Who he is: Marek
Where we spotted him: At Chicago Avenue and Rush Street.
Why we love him: Oh hello. Marek is showing Chicago guys what modern business attire is all about. His no-tie-necessary outfit demonstrates professionalism, polish, and a keen sense of the cuts and colors that make him look good. And yes, that YSL bag doubles as his briefcase, just for good measure. We love this example of an office-appropriate outfit that doesn't require the standard suit-and-tie song and dance, because we needed a little variety around the workplace. Well done.

Street Style: Make Spring Staples Uniquely Your Own

Who she is: Hollis
Where we spotted her: On Chicago Avenue in the Gold Coast, near the Red Line.
Why we love her: A chambray shirt and a great military jacket are Chicago spring staples we'll never stop wearing, and Hollis is doing us proud by making them her own. A polka dot skirt and a red lip are easy ways to up the style and chic quotient of an everyday outfit, but you should feel free to experiment with bright spring lip colors and prints of your own. We're also feeling serious bag envy. How classic is that vintage Coach bag?

Street Style: This, Friends, Is How You Wear A Vest

Who he is: Mallie Moore
Where we found him: Heaven?
Why we love him: It seems the only time we see men rocking the vest these days is when they're in standard bartender's garb, complete with a vintage bow tie. A three-piece suit to most fellas is probably some kind of strange bikini. Then, we spotted Mallie, who has got great menswear down to a science, vest included. He wears his with a spring suit and looks cool and classic, not costumey, and we think Chicago gents should take a sartorial cue or two from our handsome friend here. This look is pure polish, and makes us proud.
Street Style: These Prints Are In It To Win It

Who She Is: Jena Gambaccini, social media associate at eDrop-Off and cast member of VH1's House of Consignment
Where We Spotted Her: Downtown Chicago
Why We Love Her: As avid viewers of House of Consignment, we're well aware that the ladies of eDrop-Off can really bring it, style-wise. Jena does a great job of using trends without being in-your-face—the muted tone of her pants offsets the wild print. And, we love that she balanced the femininity of florals with her tough-girl buckled sandals. But, the devil is really in the details with this outfit—we're obsessing her chic neon-pink polish, dramatic rings, and...is that a PS1 bag we spy?

Street Style: White Denim For The Win

Who she is: Diane
Where we spotted her: Shopping in River North.
Why we love her: We can't get enough white denim this spring. It's such a chic alternative to the too-often-relied-on basic black pant. Diane's jeans pair up perfectly with a mint tank and lightweight spring layers on top. Until the weather warms, wear your white denim with a mega-volume wedge like Diane's. In summer, these jeans will beg for your best sandals (chunky heels or flats!). If you're looking for the perfect pair, try these from J.Crew. They're versatile, the price point isn't crazy, and they're super-soft.

Spring Shoe Stalking In 14 Inspiring Snaps
Typically, when someone calls you a stalker, it's not exactly a compliment. We love scouring the city for fashion sported by real Chicago gals (and guys!), and we're all about sharing. Today's focus? All the chic spring shoes we're seeing strutting around town right now. There's not a single winter boot in sight—we're all about freshening up our footwear for warmer temps, and that means wedges, booties, and cute flats in every imaginable color. Click through to see 14 killer shoe snaps, courtesy of our street-style sleuth Amy Creyer, and stay tuned to learn what we'll start hunting down next. Don't be afraid.
Street Style: Printed Pant Perfection

Who she is: Bridget White, of VH1's House Of Consignment
Where we spotted her: In the Gold Coast.
Why we love her: Bridget has found a way for those of us who love to wear black to look chic and interesting, rather than gloomy or dull. Enter the printed pant. This hexagon print, by Virgos Lounge, attracts the eye and flatters the wearer, without looking too busy. This is a stroke of sartorial genius, one that we'd take from the office to dinner or drinks. If you're a little print-shy around the office, try something like this the next time you meet a girlfriend (or guy friend!) for dinner.
