    Your favorite, Plain Jane satchel (often featuring a neon twist) has gotten a fairy godmother, or should we say, godfather, in the form of menswear designer Christopher Shannon. For spring, he revamped the simple satchel for an over-the-top capsule collection that was inspired by '80s pop star, John "Jellybean" Benitez.

    With grass-green leather trim, raffia-impersonating leather fringe, and pinked edges, the new collection of satchel/backpacks is definitely a frillier, splashier step up from the originals. Shop for it later next month, but click through to peruse the options now. (Hypebeast)
