    A bold lip will never go out of style. Much like an LBD, a fierce pout is timeless and instantly boosts your confidence. That said, a daring lip still needs some backup. You wouldn’t dream of wearing your favorite cocktail dress four weekends in a row without spicing it up with accessories, right? The same goes for your makeup.

    While it used to be a huge beauty faux pas to pair anything but a natural eye and porcelain skin with a bright lip, lately, we’re about pushing boundaries. After all, if there’s one rule in beauty, it’s that there are no rules. So, in the spirit of living on the edge (a little), we enlisted celeb makeup artist Rachel Wood to help us create four gorgeous looks all centered on one eye-catching lip color. Our shade of choice? Buxom’s Full Bodied Lipstick in Swinger, a vivid magenta hue.
