Bridal Makeup We Want To Wear Every Day

As many brides will confirm, some of the so-called wedding makeup out there can be pretty horrendous — we don't all want to look like a caricature of a virginal, blushing bride, after all. That's why we were particularly psyched to see BHLDN's most recent makeup tutorial, in which their resident makeup guru, Riku Campo, dreamt up some jaw-droppingly gorgeous looks that we'd be just as amped to sport on and off the aisle.
If you're looking for an innovative way to do your makeup on your wedding day, or if you're just in the mood try out some really stunning beauty looks, we highly suggest giving these sophisticated styles a try. Click through the slideshow to see the looks and a quick how-to, or swing by the BHLDN site to get the full step-by-step.

Autumn Twilight
To get this warm, slightly spicy look, Campo says to dust your lids with a matte, toasty brown shadow, keeping the shape rounded. Apply a shimmery, nude shadow at the brow bone, followed by a dark brown shadow along the lashline. Line around the entire lashline with a gel black liner, as well as along the inner rim of the lower lids. Finish with a swipe of rose blush on the cheeks and a dab of matte, plum lipstick on your pout.

English Rose
For this modern twist on the old bridal standby, Campo dusted lilac shadow across the eyelids and used matching shades of rose on the cheeks and lips.

Runway Ready
Start off by dusting a matte, toasty brown shadow across your lids, followed by a dark brown liner on the upper lashline. Smudge the liner to create a smoky look, then dust some shadow under your lower lashline as well to enhance your hazy gaze. Use a terracotta blush on your cheekbones and a matte nude hue on your lips.

Classic Beauty
Starting from the inner corner, dust each eye with a pearlescent white shadow and blend across your lids. Apply foundation and loose powder on your lips to create a base for the lipstick, then use a brush to apply a matte crimson shade. Finish with a swirl of rose-colored blush on each cheek and some false lashes for a hint of drama.

Mrs. Sixty
This retro look begins with a nude shadow swiped across the entire eyelid. Use an eyeliner brush to apply black gel eyeliner from the inner corner of each upper lid, thickening it as you go along, and swooping it upwards when you hit the end of your lashline. Lightly rim underneath your eye with the same hue, then add some faux lashes up top to enhance the effect. Add bronzer to your cheeks and a pale pink lipstick on your lips.

Splendid Smolder
Use a matte, toasty brown eyeshadow across the entire lid, then apply a mossy brown metallic shadow on the center of the lid, in the crease, and along the lower lashline. Line the lower lashes and inner rims of the lower lids with a black gel liner. Line your lips with a wine-colored lip pencil, then apply a clear gloss to the inside of the lips and fill them in by dabbing a complementary matte lipstick. Finish with a dusting of rose blush on the cheekbones.
