Meet The Champions Of Festival Style

If music festivals are as important a part of your summer as iced coffees and exposed toes, you'll know that each one has its own particular flavor and, thusly, dress code. Coachella is all good-looks and manicured-vibes (requisite attire: flower crowns and on-trend crop tops). SXSW is where DIY reigns supreme (cut-off black jean shorts with ankle boots). As for Bonnaroo? With no real hotels around, show-goers are also de facto campers, which provides a whole extra element of realness to the mix. Clothing has to be practical, durable, and cool, too, but at this festival, the toned-down Tennessee crowd does not dress just for the street-style cameras to snap 'em. Ahead, 26 outfits that remixed working it with roughing it and made beautiful music.

As the assistant tour manager for Chvrches, Sophie Jane Loomis is likely a pro at festival dressing. Although, her pairing of oversized Free People dress; vintage, wide-brim hat; and layers of bracelets and rings was a tell-tale sign, as well.
