It's pretty translucent, so a thin layer of this blue creates a berry-colored sheen. But, build up the color and a cool-toned indigo begins to emerge. What's really fun about this gloss is that it's not a flat blue, but rather a duo-chrome situation of amethyst and sapphire. It shows up that way when applied, too, reflecting different colors in the light.
