Joy Wilson, of Joy the Baker fame, recently paired up with our favorite sommelier and wine blogger, Whitney Adams, for a morning of bike rides, warm fluffy waffles, and of course, some bubbly. Gearing up for the launch of her first cookbook on February 28th (which is already blowing up Amazon pre-sales, BTW), Joy made some time to relax with Whitney, touring her around her favorite Venice Beach spots.
For their brunch for two at Joy's backyard grotto, Whitney pours some Pow Blop Wizz!, a sparkling rosé with apple-y, flavors of grapefruit and pear, and a touch of mysteriousness. But the centerpiece of this sweet lil' video is the recipe Joy tests out on her pal – Cornmeal Waffles with Fried Eggs and Salsa! Mmmmm! Right now we'd can't think of anything better than a morning of seaside rosé and waffles with this short of delicious pair.
