Along with the colder temps, awards season has come and gone. But, don’t pine too much for event-worthy fashion, because we're recapping the best looks we've seen on the red carpet this year.
Ahead, we rounded up 14 killer looks from some of our ultimate, stylish babes.

Who: Taylor Swift
Wearing: Gucci Première
Where: 2014 Grammy Awards
Why We Love It: So, yes, we know this isn't Swift's first encounter with a sparkly, metallic number — but it's definitely our favorite yet. We love that the silver looks soft rather than showy, that she decided against her typical bright-red lip, and that she's wearing barely any jewelry.

Who: Emma Stone
Wearing: Chanel
Where: Berlin premiere of The Amazing Spider-Man 2: Rise Of Electro
Why We Love It: Stone seemingly channels Katharine Hepburn's boldly casual attitude and kills it in this Chanel number.

Who: Freida Pinto
Wearing: H&M Conscious collection
Where: H&M Munich store opening
Why We Love It: Wearing an embroidered vest, silk, high-waisted pants, and a matching, beaded bag and heels, Pinto looks like she belongs in a NYFW street-style roundup. She smartly pairs the menswear-inspired pieces with dangling, feminine earrings and a sexy, red lip, which gives the whole look a borrowed-from-the-boys-but-looks-better-on-the-girls vibe.

Who: Alexa Chung
Wearing: Marc by Marc Jacobs coat
Where: Marc by Marc Jacobs F/W 2014 show
Why We Love It: How could we not love it?! Seriously though — we're talking about a chic, plain, black T-shirt, cropped, skinny jeans and pointy-toe ankle boots — all of which we own and wear very often. To top it off and give it that extra, fashion-week edge, Chung dons a shimmery, metallic coat. Easy, appropriate, and ridiculously cool.

Who: Amy Adams
Wearing: Vivienne Westwood
Where: Vanity Fair and Chrysler Toast American Hustle
Why We Love It: Um, has she ever looked hotter?

Who: Zoe Saldana
Wearing: Roksanda Ilincic
Where: 2014 AOL Digital NewFronts Presentation
Why We Love It: We adore this mod-meets-bohemian look, which gives Saldana a more carefree vibe than we're used to seeing on her. Plus, those coral heels are worth a shoutout — considering we can't stop staring at them.

Who: Mindy Kaling
Wearing: Topshop
Where: PaleyFest 2014
Why We Love It: Looking slamming in a green crop top and matching pencil skirt, Kaling is proof that you don't need to be a size 0 to stun in a midriff-baring top. Plus, anyone who can make Topshop look couture gets major props.

Who: Scarlett Johansson
Wearing: Michael Kors suit
Where: Captain America: The Winter Soldier Paris premiere
Why We Love It: Now, this is how to wear a bright-red pantsuit. Paired with a basic, black blouse and metallic sandals, the two-piece suit looks insanely rad. It's also a perfect fit on Johansson — it creates that oh-so-covetable, Audrey-Hepburn-style, cigarette leg.

Who: Lupita Nyong’o
Wearing: Christian Dior Couture
Where: 2014 British Academy Film Awards
Why We Love It: Sure, you can say she always wears solid-colored dresses, but that's about the only criticism anyone can make about Ms. Nyong'o's red-carpet looks. In particular, this stunning, emerald green gown— perfectly complemented by the gold waistbelt and matching platinum cuffs — really knocks it out of the park. While such a dramatic dress would likely look overwhelming or a bit theatrical on most, Nyong'o manages to wear it with such incredible ease that it appears subtle and classic.

Who: Cate Blanchett
Wearing: Valentino
Where: Rodeo Drive Walk Of Style awards ceremony
Why We Love It: Who else can wear a heavy, floor-length, beige gown with two tiers of tassels and look absolutely stunning? This look once again proves not only that Blanchett can make anything look incredible — but also that she especially shines in dresses that encompass her unique, atypical style.

Photo: David Fisher/Rex/REX USA.
Who: Emma Watson
Wearing: Ralph Lauren Collection
Where: U.K. premiere of Noah
Why We Love It: A tight, white gown is never easy to pull off — but you would never know it looking at Watson at the British premiere of Noah. At 23, the actress looks sophisticated and chic — yet still fresh-faced and completely age-appropriate.

Photo: Matt Baron/BEImages.
Who: Diane Kruger
Wearing: Valentino
Where: 2014 Vanity Fair Oscar Party
Why We Love It: Proving that sexy is more about the suggestion than the actual reveal, Kruger is a total knockout in this semi-sheer, black-lace dress. The actress makes this bold pick work by perfectly balancing seriously elegant and totally badass.

Photo: Matt Baron/BEImages.
Who: Naomie Harris
Where: 2014 NAACP Image Awards
Why We Love It: Keeping the accessories to a minimum, Harris allows the dress to take the spotlight without any compromises. We love her soft, loosely styled locks, dewy, bronze makeup, and ability to make a plunging neckline look completely tasteful.

Who: Rihanna
Wearing: Chanel
Where: Chanel Fall 2014 show
Why We Love It: Leave it to Rihanna to remind us that fashion doesn't always need to be so serious — even when we're talking Chanel.
