A pint-sized product that will instantly brighten up your face is a must-have for the season. Our current fave? This shimmering copper eyeshadow from Giorgio Armani. Blend it across your lids and watch as the liquid formula dries to a powder in seconds. The best part is, it won't budge — even through an all-night dance party.

Giorgio Armani Eye Tint in Cold Copper, $38, available at Giorgio Armani Beauty.

Anyone who has ever tried to refresh her mascara only to end up with sticky clumps will love Urban Decay’s Mascara Resurrection. The clear serum combs through hairs, softening existing mascara and readying lashes for another coat. Used alone, the brush grabs each and every hair to lift and separate them if they’ve clumped together throughout the day.

Urban Decay Mascara Resurrection, $16, available at Urban Decay.

There's something about looking tired that makes you feel tired, too. Give your eyes an instant pick-me-up with Charlotte Tilbury’s Mini Miracle Eye Wand, which features both an eye cream to help moisturize and fight dark circles and wrinkles and an illuminating concealer to brighten any shadows and help you appear wide awake (even if you're far from it).

Charlotte Tilbury Mini Miracle Eye Wand, $45, available at Net-A-Porter.

If you’re in need of a holiday hairstyle in minutes, gold bobby pins are the way to go. But try something different from your average crisscross this season. Hairstylist Andy Lecompte (Madonna’s go-to guy) suggests creating faux finger-waves in your hair by wrapping it into two to three small, tight curls and securing bobby pins along your hairline.

Everyday Bobbis Metallic Rose Gold Bobby Pins, $12, available at Ban.Dō.

For amped-up lashes that are ready for a turn on the dance floor, a volumizing mascara is key. This formula from Maybelline adds a ton of thickness and drama, but the real catch is in the wand. There’s more space between the plastic bristles here than on other traditional wands to really scoop your lashes upward for an eye-opening look, taking your fringe from meh to mesmerizing in one fell swoop.

Keeping a concealer or foundation stick in your bag is a great, mess-free option for touch-ups, but celebrity makeup artist Daniel Martin actually swears by it as a lip primer for a long night out. As you’re touching up any areas of your face, apply the product all over your lips, too. “The mattifying effect of the foundation locks down lipstick and holds for hours,” Martin tells us.

Dior Fix It 2-In-1 Prime & Conceal, $36, available at Sephora.

A bold smoky eye is a holiday-party staple, but it can be tricky to pull off in five minutes flat. For those instances, Martin suggests using this lip balm hack: Grab any of your favorite gel eyeliners and line the upper and lower waterlines of the eye to create depth. Then, line all over the top lid, stopping at the crease. Take your lip balm and tap it on your lid to cause the liner to melt into a creamy shadow. And boom! You're out the door.

Honest Beauty Magic Balm, $18, available at Honest Beauty.

For anyone who deals with oily skin after a long day, blotting papers can be a savior. Martin swears by Tatcha as his papers of choice, and always has a pack of them in his bag to soak up any unwanted oil.

Tatcha Blotting Papers, $12, available at Barneys New York.

If you have the opposite problem and are dealing with dry patches or just an overall desert on your face, grab a bottle of Tarte’s Maracuja Oil. Instead of applying it all over your face as you would pre-makeup routine, dab it over your cheeks as a highlight. The oil will pick up the light and moisturize your skin at the same time.

Tarte Maracuja Oil, $48, available at Sephora.

If you’re in a rush and need a quick pick-me-up for your entire face, spritz it with a refreshing mist. (If you can, follow up with a quick blotting of your Beautyblender.) Martin likes to use this method as well, noting, “This hydrates and picks up any product broken on the surface of the skin, so I can refresh and retouch [makeup] seamlessly.”

Caudalie
Organic Grape Water, $18, available at Caudalie.

We’re all for a great-smelling mist to instantly refresh our strands, but this hair perfume from Sachajuan has more perks up its sleeve. Not only does it impart the brand’s signature scent (a fruity floral that smells of rose, peach, and patchouli), but it also reduces static and adds shine.

Sachajuan Protective Hair Perfume, $69, available at Net-A-Porter.

A bold lip is, of course, a holiday must-have. But finding the perfect long-lasting lipstick isn’t an easy task. This lip crayon, from one of our favorite K-beauty brands, lasts through countless cocktails and has beveled edges — making it easy to apply precisely, even if you forgot your liner at home.

Chosungah 22 Full Moon Party Lipstick in Burgundy, $22, available at Sephora.

If you’re short on time before heading to your holiday party, don’t worry about reapplying your brows. Instead, opt for a clear brow gel to brush them up and seal them in. This will refresh your handiwork from the morning and make sure that any stray hairs are back in place.

Nyx Control Freak Brow Gel, $5.99, available at Ulta.

For a quick pick-me-up to liftless locks, spritz them with a dry texture spray, like Garnier’s Texture Tease. This gives your hair some extra “oomph” if it errs on the greasy, err shiny, side after a long day. It's also the perfect prep for a festive ponytail or braid.

Garnier Fructis De-Constructed Texture Tease Hairspray, $3.47, available at Target.

But if your hair has really fallen flat, Lecompte suggests spraying your roots with dry shampoo (while tossing your head upside-down for some added volume) to freshen up your look before you head out the door.

Wella Professionals EIMI Dry Me Dry Shampoo, $19, available at Ulta.

Or, say to hell with it and saturate your day-old hair with a glossy mist before pulling it into a sleek pony or chignon. Once you have your hair slicked back, mist on an extra coat to battle frizz.

Kérastase Gloss Appeal, $37, available at Kérastase.

Adding a flush of color to your cheeks is a must (especially in the winter, when it doesn’t always come naturally). Try a matchy-matchy look by patting this dark-burgundy stain onto your lips (adding more color into the center for the wine-stained lip look of the moment). Then, take two fingers and pat the apples of your cheeks with your leftover color, blending well.

Lilah B. Divine Lip & Cheek Duo in B.Memorable, $46, available at Lilah Beauty.

Brighten up your skin in an instant with a mess-free highlighter stick, like this one from Josie Maran. Apply it to the inner corners of your eyes, under your browbones, right along your cheekbones, along the bridge of your nose, and on your Cupid’s bow (especially if you’re wearing red lips!).

Josie Maran Argan Enlightenment Illuminizing Wand, $28, available at Sephora.

Kylie Jenner may have turned us onto this hair look earlier this year, but it can certainly work for a festive holiday party, too. Just make sure that you apply your tattoos of choice to straight strands (or the smooth top of a ponytail or chignon) for the full effect.

Scünci Hair Tattoos, $4.99, available at Ulta.

Don’t have time to fix your chipped manicure? Hide it with a chunky, glitter topcoat. Depending on the damage, you can choose to either paint a single chipped finger for an accent nail, or go for all 10.
