Making a movie is a pricey endeavor, but it's not longer at the expense of the filmmaker (or an investor that likely resembles the Monopoly guy). From the Veronica Mars movie to An Obvious Child, a handful of this year's most talked about movies began as small campaigns on crowdfunding sites like Kickstarter, Indiegogo, and Seed & Spark.
