In case you didn't know, September is National Honey Month. Obviously, we're celebrating it by enjoying the sweetener as a delicious snack and a magic beauty ingredient. But, there's one thing we'd forgotten until now: to give credit to the buzzing little creatures that make it all possible. Yes, we're talking about bees.
In that spirit, we thought it would be fitting to pay homage to a hairstyle fit for the Queen Bee herself: the beehive. Not only is the full-bodied beehive truly iconic, but it oozes glamour and boldness. After all, members of the stylish set — from Hollywood starlets to royals — have been donning versions of it since the Pompadour days of 18th-century France.

Ahead, we show you the 15 best beehives we’ve seen to date. These are definitely hair “'dos” in our book.
