If you wanted to get your art on cruising the Chelsea galleries this weekend, we'd like to suggest something a little more fabulous. Bergdorf Goodman, our fave uptown outpost for all things luxe, has transformed their windows into a mini-museum, with paintings, photography, and (of course) stellar clothing making the corner of 58th and 5th Avenue a new culture mecca. The main attraction is a special exhibition celebrating Akris's 15-year collaboration with photographer Steven Klein, featuring a really rad retrospective of their past ad campaigns. One window include a beaded flapper-style dress paired with an Otto Dix painting, while another showcases a selection of works from the BAMart Silent Auction. In case you're in the mood to shop for things to hang on your walls instead of in your closet, you can bid on the works on display until 8p.m. this Sunday. The prices are so good, you might never make it inside. Plus, all proceeds benefit the Brooklyn Academy of Music.
