Go For The Gold At BellJar’s Gold Rush-Themed Pop Up!

Fools Gold
It’s officially November and the Mission’s uber-lovely shop BellJar is — obviously — already decking its halls in a major way. Come this Friday, things in the girly-girl emporium will be extra pretty thanks to a pop-up shop that owner Sasha Darling is dubbing the Gold Rush Marketplace.
Tucked into the shop's in-store gallery, the marketplace is outfitted with a "gold rush mining-town theme with a modern, updated feel." It will feature a roster of hand-selected designers and artists, including locals Lisa Congdon, Hannah Stouffer, Sarah Applebaum, and Alissa Anderson, showcasing everything from baubles to prints. Oakland-based e-shop Little Paper Planes will even have its own little corner of the marketplace displaying a set of rock-like structures made out of paper, clay, wood, and photographs, designed by a group of twenty artists. Ready to see it all glitter? Head to the glitzy pop-up's debut party this Friday, November 11. And, if you can't make it then, note that the marketplace will be in full effect until January 8th.
When: Friday, November 11, 7-10 p.m.
Where: BellJar, 3187 16th Street (between Valencia and Guerrero streets); 415-616-1749.
