Beatrixe Hits Rewinds For Their ’60s-Inspired Spring ’12 Lookbook

The newest collection from Beatrixe has us dreaming about the Palm Springs our grandmothers used to know in the '60s, with bright skirts, hot pants, dappled prints that look like refracting swimming pools, and mod bobs with plenty of bounce.
Axel Burla and Begum Tuna, the designers behind the brand, drew inspiration from the icons of the era; think Twiggy, Audrey Hepburn, Jackie Kennedy, and Elizabeth Taylor. The pieces reflect the organic and sleek architecture of the '60s, with shades of desert orange, bright yellow, and aqua blues in laid-back, silky separates. We've got an exclusive peak at the designers' fourth collection, which revisits the classics with a fresh, new take for spring '12. Let's just say our California dreaming just got a lot more intense.
