Ashley Greene Talks Twilight, Switches Up Coastal Red-Carpet Style

If you've ever wondered whether or not the Cullens actually look that perfect in real life, wonder no more: Ashley Greene is, if anything, even more gorgeous in person. Her cheekbones are higher, her hair glossier, and she's a real sweetheart, to boot! Plus, she's got taste. The actress, who plays psychic vampire Alice in the series, wore two wildly different outfits while promoting the film and managed to pull off both with aplomb.
For the New York screening hosted by The Cinema Society (with The Hollywood Reporter and Samsung Galaxy), she chose a vampy (no pun intended) Donna Karan number with a structured bodice and matching dark-blue eye makeup; in L.A., she was sugar sweet in a flowing princess gown. We can't decide which one we like better, can you?

We caught up with the star on the red carpet in NYC last night, and it's clear that, while she had a certain wistfulness in her voice as she discussed her role in the final film of The Twilight Saga, she's got a brilliant career ahead of her!

What's it like to watch yourself on screen, doing action scenes with all that vampire makeup?

"I think Breaking Dawn Part 2 is the least strange to watch...we wrapped about two years ago, so I honestly didn't know what was going to make the cut. But this time, it wasn't so close to me, it didn't drudge up stuff. Usually, when you watch a film, all you can think about is what you ate that morning, the experiences you had around it. It was kind of nice to be able to see this film and really just watch it in awe. Part of that's [director] Bill Condon, because he did a beautiful, phenomenal job."
