Here's What Your Love Life Looks Like This Month

comments
Be still thy beating heart! September is off to an auspicious start as cosmic lovebirds Venus and Mars make an exact connection on the 1st. What we want and need becomes even clearer after the 6th, when Venus snaps out of a five-week retrograde. Keep it PG though, people. Stern Saturn trudges through sexy Scorpio until the 17th, putting our naughtier natures on ice. With two eclipses this September — on the 13th and 27th — there will be lots of surprises in store. Secret crushes may be revealed, and our own hidden desires will come to light. Romance gets epic on the 23rd, when the sun heads into Libra for a month. Bring on the red roses, promise rings, and teary-eyed declarations of love. But, make sure you’re sure before you get down on bended knee or fire off a sexy Snapchat, because Mercury is retrograde from September 17 until October 9, causing signals to scramble.

Aries Love Forecast

September continues to be high season for romance. With Mars and Venus in your fifth house of amour, you’ll be all about the PDA, bold declarations of love, and extreme dates. But, what about the practical stuff? A solar eclipse on the 13th forces you to get real. Back up your words, or the player accusations will fly. Warning: With Mercury retrograde from the 17th until October 9, you don’t want to make promises you can’t keep.

An ex could make a comeback, too (take it slow!). If you’re attached, Mercury’s backspin can help you resolve lingering issues, but you’ll need to watch your quick-fire temper when discussing the conflict, or you could do some irrevocable damage. You’ll be keener on commitment after the 23rd, when the Libra sun lights up your partnership house. If you’ve been too accommodating, the Aries lunar eclipse on the 27th helps you assert your needs. Be honest if you need more space or want to explore some solo passions that don’t include a partner.

Your Beauty Forecast: Feeling Gilt-y
To get the look, paint each lid with a wash of metallic gold cream shadow, from lashline to browbone, and all along your lower lashline. Use a soft, tapered brush to diffuse and soften the edges. Next, glide a black liquid liner along your upper lashline, flicking it out and up at the end. (Use the end of your brow as a guideline to angle it up.) Define lashes with two coats of mascara. Swirl coral blush over the apples of your cheeks with a large powder brush, and finish off the look with matching pink lip balm in a matte finish.
