4 New York Bloggers, 1 Full Month Of Looks

April weather in New York can be kind of crazy. And, by "kind of" we mean that in the span of a single week, we're likely to experience some variety of snow flurries, downpour, and (praise be!) warm sunshine. Spring in the city is unpredictable to say the least, and figuring out just what to wear can be a total mind-bender. As we get dressed every morning, we find ourselves asking, Wait — is it still winter or is it finally spring?! No wonder we've had some trouble making it out the door on time.

The change in seasons calls for a versatile wardrobe, and this April is all about transitional pieces. We called on four of our favorite New York bloggers (who know this wild climate all too well) to help map out a month's worth of looks. So, by the time spring does  finally come our way, we'll have a full arsenal of daily inspiration. Click ahead, and mark your calendars.

Jeanne Grey, Grey Layers
She may be a jack of all trades (she's a stylist, creative director, visual merchandiser, and marketing coordinator), but when it comes to her signature look, Grey believes that less is more. We love her (preferred) monochromatic palette, and the way she plays with different silhouettes and textures.

Monday
"Mondays are the hardest, so I like to keep things playful yet clean."

What She's Wearing: Club Monaco button-down, Forever 21 jeans, Steve Madden shoes, and H&M pearls.

Page Harris & Francia Cooper, Because We Can
It's clear why this pair of BFFs counts Solange Knowles among their style icons: Their style is all about combining fashion opposites — vintage with modern, high with low. And, double the bloggers can only mean one thing: double the fun (and outfit inspo)!

Claire Geist, De Lune
This recent New School grad may have show-stopping red locks, but it's her eclectic style that truly captivates. She's a vintage queen (she works at a thrift shop in Brooklyn) and knows how to transform even the craziest of pieces into a wearable staple.

Monday
"Since I work at Dusty Rose, a vintage clothing warehouse in Brooklyn, a good portion of my closet is comprised of my vintage treasures. For spring, I was stoked to see so many wide-legged pants in so many different collections — viva la wide-leg! I’m embracing the look with some cropped overalls and a woven handbag."

What She's Wearing: Vintage bag and overalls, and Ray-Ban sunglasses.

Lauren Gould, The Marcy Stop
Gould's California roots shine through her aesthetic, which is heavily bohemian and '70s-inspired. We admire her laid-back, cool aura (especially in the hustle and bustle of NYC), and the way she makes us want a wardrobe filled with flared jeans and jumpsuits. In other words, she makes Brooklyn look really, really good.

Monday
"Even if you're not Coachella-bound, you can still embrace festival fashion through fun flares, fringe, and an oversized hat."

What She's Wearing: Nasty Gal jeans, Denim & Supply sweater, James Perse T-shirt, custom Gigi Burris hat, Forever 21 choker, Rebecca Minkoff crossbody bag, and Hinge booties.
