Anthropologie Opens In Chelsea Market So You Can Buy Your Groceries And A New Dress!
anthropologie-chelsea-1

Whenever we walk into an Anthropologie store, it feels like we've been invited over for a cozy dinner party followed by a craft night complete with quilting and pottery making. And then we see a price tag and remember we're only in a store. Clearly, when it comes to shopping experiences, Anthropologie is definitely up there on the list of alternate-reality shopping experiences. To tempt us even more, this Friday, April 16th, they're moving to the Meat Packing District to debut their brand new Chelsea Market location. Unlike their other shops, this new Anthro will feature one-of-a-kind collections like re-designed vintage dresses to exclusive pieces from designers like Vera Wang and Vivienne Westwood. Also on hand are hand-painted latte bowls to complete your brunch-time tablescape that are exclusively customized by New Orleans Based artist Ashley Longshore. All this and a marketful of every type of food under the sun? Sounds like hell our on waistlines and wallet but definitely heaven for our taste-buds and closets. Where: Chelsea Market, 75 9th Avenue, (between 15th and 16th streets); 212-620-3116 Hours: Monday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Sunday, 11 am - 7 pm.
