Last Sunday, I didn't want to leave the beach. NYC felt like another galaxy after being away for a weekend. If only we could maintain the relaxed feel of the shore when we're back in the big city.

In my work as an interior designer, I’ve started hunting for pieces that can encapsulate that memory of soft waves crashing and long hours of lounging with my husband and friends in the sun — items that will even fit in the tiniest of Manhattan apartments.
