It seems as though Anderson Cooper was sparked with a little DIY inspiration upon watching the Chanel Paris Fashion Week presentation that showcased the now-infamous, hula-hoop handbag. And — because we suspect they'd make the coolest set of BFFs — who better to share his latest project with than Alexa Chung, his guest yesterday on Anderson Live.
Cooper and Chung discussed Lagerfeld's supposed "practical" accessory — Cooper calling it "ridiculous," and the Chanel muse chiming in to point out that it could serve as a flotation device at the beach. But, it was the Cooper's makeshift Chanel bag — made of real, sparkly hula hoops and marked with an "AC" (Anderson Cooper or Alexa Chung?) — that stole the show.
Chung happily swung the oversized beach bag on her shoulder, looking so adorable even Karl, himself, would crack a smile.
