Coral is a color generally reserved for lips and cheeks, but try mixing it up this season by applying it to the eyelids. Blend with paler shades (or apply lightly) to create a cool, almost pastel effect. It’s an unexpected interpretation of a traditional summer look.

I hadn’t seen the lovely Kelly Kopen in years — not since she was rocking a short, brunette, tomboy do. It was such a pleasure to reconnect!

This look is a mixture of Dior’s new Bird of Paradise collection and one of their older eyeshadows. Stay tuned for another take on the collection using their teal, green, and blue eyeshadow palette.

Dior Backstage Eyeshadow in Pareo, $29, available at Dior; Dior Show New Look in Black, $28.50, available at Dior; Dior Powder Eyebrow Pencil in Sand, $29, available at Dior; Dior Paradise Duo Bronzing Powder in Coral Glow, $119, available at Amazon; Dior Jelly Lip Pen in Carioca (lips were blotted with concealer first to create a more opaque and slightly paler tone), $40.13, available at Amazon.
