New York Fashion Week is in full swing, and we're cataloging all the style, soirees, and stumbles. Yes, if it happened, it's here. The daily stuff you want to know, straight from the front row.
We’re closing out a fashion-stuffed weekend feeling pretty darn satisfied. Because, after we dodged the slush and basin-size puddles in our boots, sneakers, and, yes, sky-high heels (don’t worry, we had each other to lean on) during a wintry Saturday night, we floated far off into the distance for Alexander Wang’s first non-Manhattan show at the Brooklyn Navy Yard. And, yes, it was so worth it. With a high-tech, rotating finale and a smattering of need-right-now coats (suede down puffers, silk windbreakers), how could it not be?
But, wait, don't leave us now, because, Mr. Wang wasn't the only designer who schooled us in high-concept outerwear. Suno ushered in the next big thing in layering (cue oversized crop tops and trapeze skirts), and Prabal Gurung reintroduced the blanket scarf. Want more? Good. There’s a gorg alternative wedding dress from Delpozo and the latest in headgear up ahead. Go on, what’s #trending right this very second is just a click away. And, you thought this Sunday would be lazy and boring.
