Local Love: 5 NYC Boutiques With Gifts For Everyone (Even You)!

New York is filled with hidden treasures, and for the 11 other months of the year, you'll normally find us shopping for ourselves at any one of them. However, it's time to give, (and…okay, to receive, too), and we couldn't think of a better city to scour in order to cross off our gift lists. Although it's hard to whittle down the options, we landed on these five amazing NYC boutiques that are must-shop locations the holiday season. Plus, we've even picked out a few sure-to-please picks for your best friend, boss, main squeeze, and, if you just can't resist, yourself.
Click through for our boutique heavy-hitters, and let us know what your go-to independent shops are this holiday season!

Spiritual America
This Rivington Street boutique is still a newbie on the scene, but already an amazing addition to our gifting roundup. The boutique boasts unique collaborations between artists, designers, and local craftsmen, as well as a range of designers that we swoon over. We spotted these super-pretty earrings that are perfectly mismatched and bound to make anyone smile this year.

Mociun Mismatched Triangle Studs, $339, available at Spiritual America.

Spiritual America; 5 Rivington Street (between Bowery and Christie Street); (212) 960-8564.

Ideal for a hostess gift or for the friend who just moved to town, check out this modern-design hotspot for a few presents to make any house feel like a home. You may not have a say in how your bud designs her studio, but she'll fondly think of you whenever she spots that adorable throw pillow that brightens her living room/dining room/bedroom.

Onassis
It's no surprise that we're including our usual Soho stop here. With a selection of classic styles for the handsome guy in your life, it'll be hard not to treat him to (at least) one. Start with this comfy sweater, and add on whatever else you know he'll dig.

Hand Knit Cable Cardigan, $298, available at Onassis.

Onassis; 71 Greene Street (between Broome and Spring streets); (212) 966-8869.

Bird
Already a favorite regular stop for hot items from Rachel Comey, A.P.C., and Whit, there are tons of amazing buys at Bird. We've got our eyes fixed on a pair of Fair Isle gloves for mom and sis, and we might just pick up an extra set too, for that one oops-we-forgot person we'll have to add to our list at the very last minute.

Hikaru Noguchi Little Fair Isle Gloves, $65, available at Bird.

Bird; 220 Smith Street (at Butler Street) Cobble Hill, Brooklyn; (718) 797-3774.

Pixie Market
With a range of designer names as well as price points, to fit any gal's style, be sure to impress your besties with unique finds that will soon beat out last year's favorite present (not that we're bragging or anything). We'll likely take something home for ourselves, too. This Ganni coat has our name all over it.

Ganni Hooded Toggle Jacket, $294, available at Pixie Market.

Pixie Market; 100 Stanton Street #2 (at Ludlow Street); (212) 253-0953.
