It's been far too long since we cozied up with the ladies of Litchfield Penitentiary. But our favorite inmates are back on June 17 for the season 4 of Orange Is The New Black. Now Netflix has whet our appetites by releasing the first official photos from the upcoming season. "[T]he newest season of Orange delves into the racial and economic tensions that run rampant in the halls of Litchfield," the company teases. "Overrun with new inmates and overseen by inexperienced guards, the prison undergoes an unprecedented culture war."

We had a lot of questions after the season 3 finale last year. And these new pics are bringing up a lot more. Who are the new guys? Will overcrowding result in more fighting? What happened to Alex? What does Crazy Eyes know? Is Sophia still locked up? Click through to see what clues you can pick up from these new pics.

1. The Prison Panty Queen Gets Her Comeuppance

Um, holy shit. Why is Blanca (Laura Gomez) gagging Piper (Taylor Schilling) with what appears to be a torn sheet and holding her head down — while someone else gets ready to burn or slice Piper's fingers off? Shit, girl.

2. Sophia Is Still Down In The Dumps

Litchfield's resident hairdresser looks super-depressed here — lacking her makeup, wig, and confidence. Is Sophia (Laverne Cox) still in solitary? Either way, this photo is heartbreaking.

3. Big Boo & Pennsatucky Are Still Buddy-Buddy

Lea DeLaria, who plays fan-favorite Boo, is now a series regular this season. And it looks like she and Pennsatucky (Taryn Manning) are still hanging around after they got close last season (when Boo comforted Pennsatucky after that awful rape).

4. Crazy Eyes Gets Herself In Hot Water (Yet Again)

Whoa, why are Taystee (Danielle Brooks) and Black Cindy (Adrienne C. Moore) trying to shut Suzanne "Crazy Eyes" up? Is it for her own good? Or is Crazy Eyes threatening to spill a secret she's really not supposed to know about?

5. Martha Stewart Has Arrived

Well, sort of. Judy King (Blair Brown) is a Martha-esque new inmate with a cooking show and a tax evasion conviction. Will she bring domestic bliss to Litchfield? Or will her notoriety make her the target of those purported class wars this season? Poussey (Samira Wiley), for one, looks to be a fan.

6. There's A Diverse Bunch Of New Girls

We saw the bus of newcomers arriving at the end of season 3. And we already know how the women of Litchfield deal with newcomers and anyone different — bullying, threats and manipulation are just the beginning. Based on that, it's likely that the woman in the hijab is likely to be antagonized or victimized — might she be at the center of that new culture war?

7. There's Going To Be Big Standoff

Speaking of new inmates and warring factions, it looks like a major face-off or fight is going down in the new season. And who's that new chick in orange on the floor? Is she at the middle of the conflict?

8. Red & Gloria Could Be Kitchen Cronies

Red (Kate Mulgrew) and Gloria (Selenis Leyva) appear to be working together in relative harmony. Did they reach some kind of truce? Or has Red got Gloria under her finger?

9. Alex Is Still Kickin' & Fightin'

Okay, so Alex has clearly survived whatever happened in that tool-shed and evaded being sniped by a hit-man from her former life. But what the hell is Vause (Laura Prepon) doing trying to jump a damn fence?
