Tonight, Britney Spears will bring her dance moves to Jane the Virgin.

Britney plays herself in the episode, which finds her facing off against Rogelio, Jane's telenovela-star father (Jaime Camil). Jane creator Jennie Urman told Refinery29 earlier this year that Britney is Rogelio's "nemesis" — at least according to him. But even if Britney has some bad blood with one member of the extended Villanueva clan, based on a trailer released last week, it seems that the pop star and Jane (Gina Rodriguez) are more in sync.

Rodriguez told Refinery29 that during filming Spears was "fierce, hysterical, great with her comedy." But that should come as no surprise.

Yes, even before Spears was the pop icon we know and love she was on the small screen, appearing in The All New Mickey Mouse Club. Over the years, she's continued to turn out funny appearances on some of our favorite shows. She initially popped up on tween fare like Sabrina, the Teenage Witch, and later segued into more risqué roles on grownup sitcoms like Will & Grace and How I Met Your Mother. Spears has shown she's game to both lampoon herself and hop into an outlandish character.

So before you watch Britney get down with Jane to "Toxic," relive some of her other amazing moments.

    Sabrina, the Teenage Witch, 1999
Thanks to some magic (duh) Britney performs a private concert for Sabrina and gives the teen some life advice. It's a bit depressing to hear a young Spears talk about how lonely she is, even if it's in the context of a TV show.

Spears and Melissa Joan Hart were basically a dream team in 1999. Remember, Hart appeared in Spears' video for "(You Drive Me) Crazy," which was featured on the soundtrack of Hart's movie Drive Me Crazy.

    Kenan & Kel, 1999
Kenan and Kel meet Britney on an excursion to Hollywood. Kel does Britney's hair; it doesn't go well. (Though Spears' hair would eventually go through worse.)

    Will & Grace, 2006
The latter seasons of Will & Grace overdid it on the celebrity guest stars. But Spears gave this one her all, playing a conservative pundit who was secretly a lesbian. The show was long indebted to Spears, though. Note this earlier homage to her "Oops!" moves.
