You Can Eat A Holiday Feast In The Great Hall At Hogwarts

Forget your annual holiday plans because this year you can officially celebrate the season in a much more magical setting — the Great Hall at Hogwarts. Thanks to Warner Brothers, you've got the opportunity to potentially consume all the food you've always dreamed of eating from the Harry Potter books and movies. The studio is hosting a "Dinner in the Great Hall" in London on December 3. The lucky guests get to indulge in Christmas puddings and hams studded with cherries as well as all the holiday trimmings that were featured onscreen. Diners will receive a real wand (Accio pumpkin juice!), and after the meal there will be desserts like treacle tart, and let's not forget Butterbeer. You also get to hang out at Platform 9 & 3/4 and stroll around Diagon Alley. Unfortunately, there are two major downsides. First, tickets are a whopping 230 pounds each, or approximately $350, which is a lot to spend on one dinner, no matter how magical. Plus, this is a one-night-only event in London, so it gets way more expensive for those of us who don't already live in the U.K. No matter, our inner HP geek is already wishfully planning our holiday vacation around the themed extravaganza.
