Being granted backstage access during Fashion Week comes with an abundance of perks: You get to see the makeup, hair, and nail looks before anyone else, you're able to pick the minds of the creative geniuses behind the trends, and you get to chat it up with the (mostly) sweet-as-pie models.
But one of the coolest aspects of being back there is getting a first look at all the brand-spankin'-new beauty products — some of them so fresh, they're still in their lab sample packaging. Makeup, hair, and skin-care companies use Fashion Week as an opportunity to test and display their upcoming launches — in this case, for the winter and spring seasons. And believe us, the ones we spied backstage this time around are good. Like take-all-of-my-money-no-questions-asked good.
