Everything We Learned From The Kardashian Family's New Websites

Few celebrities have the power to break the internet quite like the Kardashian-Jenners. Together, Kim, Khloe, Kourtney, Kendall, and Kylie, amass nearly 175 million followers on Instagram, nearly 100 million followers on Twitter, and countless admirers (and — let's be honest — haters) across the globe. And whether you can't stop staring at Kylie's Snapchat videos, or try to avoid every mention of the family at all costs, it's impossible to deny their social media power and cultural relevance.

What we're trying to say is, these days, there are so many ways to keep up with the Kardashians — whether you mean to or not. They're dominating your Instagram feeds, your Facebook timelines, and now, they're taking over your browsers.

Introducing the latest in peak Kardashian: an editorial product comprised of five different websites, dedicated to each of the sisters and their personalities. Helmed by Jen Garcia, former deputy news editor of People magazine who "built up a respect with the family" after nine years of covering their every move (yes, she even "attended one of Kim's weddings"), the subscription-based digests offer even more insight (something we didn't think possible) into the lives of reality TV's most famous ladies.

"This is five of the most talked about women in the world," Garcia says, claiming that this is the first time the Kardashian-Jenner sisters "are having a voice."

"This is the first time they can showcase what’s important to their fans. It’s one family but they are all really distinct personalities. From the get-go they made that clear. They wanted each of these apps to be reflective of their different personalities. You’re going to see overlap but also really personal themes."

But, like every other Kardashian-Jenner venture, this isn't just about self-promotion. There's also a monetary catch. To get the latest on everything from contouring secrets to fitness tips to and all things fashion, readers will have to cough up $2.99-a-month, per page. Sure, it may seem like a random, small amount, but Kim's $200 million app, Kim Kardashian: Hollywood, is proof that these tiny charges actually do add up as revenue in the long run.

So, what can we expect from the family who makes a living out of sharing every last detail of their lives, from fertility struggles to failed marriages — and is it worth the near $3-a-month? As Garcia explains, each site is reflective of the girls' unique interests and styles, and that's something that definitely shines through.

Here's what we've uncovered thus far:

Kylie Jenner
Best for: The inside scoop on cleavage contouring (they're real, she swears!); odes to (a.k.a. promotional pieces about) her BFFs; how to cop her style without spending a fortune (she suggests swapping in $6 gold bangles from Forever21 in place of her six Cartier 'Love' bracelets).

Khloe Kardashian
Best for: Out-of-the-box sex tips (and how to "go 'head, get down"); cookie jar organizational tips; how to get fit while looking runway-ready.

Kim Kardashian West
Best for: Toddler fashion inspiration (a friendly reminder that her two-year-old will always be cooler than you); go-to products for the perfect bubble bath; exclusive behind-the-scenes polaroids (better known as shameless self-promotion).

Kendall Jenner
Best for: All things fashion week; insight into her wardrobe staples ("short shorts + tall boots = life"); an obsession with '90s Kate Moss.

Missing from the website krew is Kourtney, whose site is "just not ready yet," according to Garcia. Once it goes live, Kardashian fans will be looking at a cost of $179.40 per year to keep tabs on all five women. Multiply that times the 2.5 million viewers who tuned in for the most recent season premiere of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, and you start to understand just how good Kris Jenner is at her job.
