Photos Capture A Rainbow Over The World Trade Center On Eve Of 9/11 Anniversary

It's easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of day-to-day life in New York City. From the current rainy weather to Fashion Week and the U.S. Open, there are no shortage of distractions right now. But sometimes all it takes is a simple photo to make you step back from your hectic schedule.

The powerful images that are sending shivers down our spines right now were taken by Twitter user Ben Sturner. Positioned at the perfect angle, Sturner captured a rainbow appearing to emerge directly from One World Trade Center. They are beautiful images, but all the more poignant as an emotional event looms. Tomorrow, of course, is the 14th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, making these photos a timely reminder to #NeverForget.

Whether it's a sign from above or just a pretty picture, our day was certainly brightened. Don't hesitate to let us know if you agree.
