It's rare, but sometimes it happens. That elusive moment when Kanye West actually smiles. Ye busted one out during the VMAs tonight for a very special reason: The Weeknd's first ever performance on the VMA stage.
To be fair, it wasn't just West. The Weeknd absolutely slayed the room with his fiery (no literally, there was fire just like in the video) rendition of "I Can't Feel My Face." The cameras caught Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez leading the celebrity dance-off early in the song, standing while the rest of the girl gang were still in their seats. They weren't there for long, though; the cameras caught all the "Bad Blood" girl squad on their feet before the performance was over.

But most shocking was seeing West in an oversized T-shirt, standing up and dancing along with a big smile on his face. The pregnant Kim Kardashian was beside him, still in her seat. It can't be easy in those heels.
Twitter also noticed West getting turnt up to the music and offered some hilarious, happy reactions.
