Jennifer Lawrence Makes The Case For A Little Navy Dress

The celebrity fashion at San Diego Comic-Con was practically at Met Gala levels this past weekend. With red carpet royalty — including Cara Delevingne, Jessica Chastain, and Lily James — making appearances, fashion fangirls and -boys were left just as satisfied as the usual event enthusiasts. Oh, and a special treat: Jennifer Lawrence made multiple sartorially blessed appearances, including one in this slinky, blue Prabal Gurung dress.

On hand to promote both The Hunger Games and X-Men: Apocalypse, the Oscar winner brought her style A-game. Now, her blue dress wasn’t any old thing: Think midnight-navy with a metallic sheen, a figure-hugging fit, and a side slit up the left leg. (Homage to her body-painted Mystique character, maybe?) With a statement piece like that, Jennifer took it easy on the accessories — well, sort of. Strappy black sandals were a no-brainer, so as not to clash with the glimmer on the dress and the mega-sparkle dripping off of her earlobes. No wonder a pair of Tom Ford sunnies was in order to finish off the look.

Jennifer Lawrence graced the annual San Diego Comic-Con in not one but three red-carpet-ready outfits, including this hot midnight-blue dress by Prabal Gurung.

A metallic navy dress is a sleek but still elegant alternative to a LBD.

Try a cage design to mix up your standard black strappy heels.

You might need to accessorize with a bodyguard, too, if you wear these earrings out.

And a pair of sunglasses to complete that mystique look (get it?).
