Who needs a dating app when you've got Ellie Goulding? Apparently, the "Lights" singer is the responsible party behind the Calvin Harris and Taylor Swift relationship. Goulding recently told The Sun that she helped the couple along by encouraging them to actually go on a date. "I did play matchmaker, that's true," she said. So why did she envision those two in particular together? "Calvin is a really great mate and he's so fantastic, and Taylor is such a cool person who I love," Goulding shared. "I thought, 'They're both really awesome and both really tall. They'll be brilliant together.'" Really awesome and really tall isn't always the formula behind why certain duos are destined, but in this case it definitely worked out.
