When Transparent was released in February 2014, the world couldn't have known how close to home it would hit for one very public reality-TV family. According to series creator Jill Soloway, Transparent played a part in helping the Kardashian family understand what its patriarch was going through.

"I actually had great conversations with Caitlyn and with Kim, awesome little moments where Kim told me that the family watched the show together. Caitlyn told me that she loved it," Soloway recently told US Weekly. The writer-director also divulged that she's extended an open invitation for Caitlyn Jenner to visit the set — and even appear on an episode of the show, if that's of interest. "I don't know if she would even want to act," Soloway said, "but we definitely want to incorporate the fact that she came out into this season. Just to have that be part of a conversation somewhere in a scene, for sure." Caitlyn Jenner already has a lot of television appearances on the agenda, including her own upcoming series on E!, documenting her transition and her "new normal" life. Regardless of what future affiliation Jenner has with Transparent, we're glad that the show was there for her to watch with her family when they needed it. (US Weekly)
