30+ Killer Festival Looks From Governors Ball

When it comes to inspired summer style, it's hard to outdo Coachella's flutter of lacy rompers and '70s-inflected looks. This weekend, however, New York City proved that it's the reigning capital of all things cool — concert wear definitely included.

Governors Ball hit all the summer music festival notes, turning Randall's Island into way more than an acoustics paradise: Drake, Florence and the Machine, and Lana Del Rey took the stage; crowds enjoyed the nowhere-near-sweaty temps, and fashion was in full force. Attendees displayed expertly updated versions of the city's classic uniform: lots of black. Colorful accessories, mixed prints, and bold statement pieces joined the fray, too, proving this crowd is ready to take on any event that summer 2015 may surface.

Looking for a little warm-weather inspiration yourself? The New Yorkers ahead have a few ideas about where you could start.
