Iggy Azalea Got Engaged & The Ring Is Massive

Congratulations are in order for Iggy Azalea and her basketball-player beau, Nick Young. The couple are now engaged after Young, who plays for the L.A. Lakers, proposed during his 30th birthday party last night, Us Weekly reports. As luck would have it, the whole affair was all captured on social media. Pal Karen Civil shared a short video of the proposal, which shows an overjoyed Azalea saying "yes!" before helping herself to her new engagement bling.

The Australian rapper wasted no time in posting her own snaps of the moment. Given the size of that ring, can you really blame her?

Now, about that ring. According to Us, it's an 8.15-carat Fancy Intense yellow stone (so, so ginormous) surrounded by 2.25 carats of diamonds, and set on an 18-karat white gold band. Young designed the ring, which is reportedly worth $500,000, in collaboration with Jason of Beverly Hills. "Nick was very involved in designing the ring," Jason Arasheben, CEO of Jason of Beverly Hills, told the magazine.
