That's pretty much what went down over the weekend, when Rihanna posted a snap of herself in a killer, vibrant violet lip shade. Following that initial shot, she posted about 10 more pictures and videos to her profile, and in just about every single one, she's wearing that hue. People started buzzing: WTF was RiRi wearing? Finally, she gave us the answer:

Free Spirits is a new cosmetics line by Rihanna's friend Leandra, and Purple Haze is the lipstick color in question. After that post, Purple Haze sold out almost immediately, proving that RiRi's got some serious market value. The girl's got good taste, too — Free Spirits' lip stains cover a wide range of hues, including one majorly badass metallic blue. So, even though that covetable violet is out of stock (at the moment), you can still score others while they last. Hey, it's one more thing you'll have in common with Rihanna, right?
