The Best Way To Use Peanut Butter & Jelly EVER

I wanted to go big for a holiday as major as National Peanut Butter and Jelly Day (which is today!). While some people try to overcomplicate a classic (peanut butter and pickle sandwich, anyone?), the words "Peanut Butter and Jelly Sundae" kept playing in my head on loop.

Lucky for me, an advance copy of Big Gay Ice Cream's new book (being released on April 28th) landed on my desk. I get A LOT of food/cookbooks, and while most of them are great, Big Gay Ice Cream's is seriously awesome. I developed a big crush on them while reading their book, and I finally built up the courage to call and ask if they would create a peanut butter and jelly ice cream sundae for us. To my absolute delight, they agreed, and sent me back the most incredibly fun, mouth-watering recipe. Oh, and that's not all. The best part is that all of the ingredients listed here are store-bought — no complicated prep or pre-baking required. Just freeze, mix, thaw, serve, and SHOVE IT IN YOUR FACE.
