Since she's a member of the glam Kardashian/Jenner fam, one might expect Kylie Jenner to gravitate toward high-end stores to fulfill her makeup needs. But, the 17-year-old frequents CVS (a personal favorite drugstore of ours) to stock up on at least some of her goodies. "I love CVS because I get all of my lashes from there," she told Grazia UK. Strip lashes, to be exact. She named Sephora as another go-to. Kylie Jenner, she's actually just like us.
With their Kardashian Beauty line, Kylie's older half-sisters have been long-term advocates of affordable beauty. So, we're going to go out on a limb here and say she picked up some of her budget-makeup savvy from Kourtney, Khloé, and Kim. It turns out, one sister has passed down some pretty valuable beauty tips — and it's not a certain former platinum blonde.
"I get my best beauty tips from Khloé," Kylie admitted. "She always tells me growing up to put sunscreen on my hands and face, and always wash my face before I go to sleep." Sound advice, indeed. Her big sis has also been witness to what Kylie calls one of the more embarrassing beauty moments of her young(er) years. "I stole [my mom's] foundation one time, and she so wasn't my color, she was 10 shades darker," she reminisced. "I saw my sister Khloé after and she was like, 'Are you wearing makeup? That is so not your shade, Kylie.'"
That's what family is for — to call us out on our mishaps, and then lead us in the right direction (or, the direction of the right foundation).
