When we see a celebrity fall for the same of-the-moment piece we're crushing on, we're weirdly reassured in our obsession. Our latest saving grace is Emmy Rossum, who recently took some time away from her new, rapping neighbor out in L.A. to swing by The View. For her daytime television appearance, the Shameless actress donned an appropriate transitional outfit: a spring midi skirt in a dark, cold-weather hue, with a bold coat on top to keep warm. But, the pièce de resistance was the all-too-familiar silhouette of her bag.
It seems the bucket-bag bug has bitten even the biggest names in Hollywood — a sobering realization given yesterday's scramble over the Mansur Gavriel restock. While Rossum's bag wasn't Mansur, it was equally covetable with its fashion-forward colorblocking — in, again, a perfect transitional color combination. Emmy also showed off some skilled outfit-accessory coordination, matching the print of her midi skirt with both her bag and her strappy Christian Louboutin sandals.
Although today is the first official day of spring, it's still too cold to don Rossum's transitional look — on the East Coast, at least. So, we recreated her outfit for the warmer temps (soon?) to come.
