If Carrie Bradshaw Was A Disney Princess

The ladies of Sex and the City and Disney's on-screen heroines have tons in common: they're a little romance-obsessed; their hair — and clothes — are pretty unrealistic; and they've all sparked a feminist conversation at one point or another. Now imagine the two clans completely meshed together. As expected, the results are nothing short of perfection.

Cosmopolitan commissioned illustrator Isaiah Stephens to create a series in which Disney princesses are given the ultimate New York gal makeover. Cinderella is the Carrie, naturally; Ariel and Prince Eric take on the roles of Miranda and Steve, strolling along the Brooklyn Bridge (does Sebastian live in the Hudson!?); Belle is Charlotte, perched in her penthouse on the Upper East Side; and Jasmine sports her best Samantha Jones-esque mini dress on the step and repeat.

It's the perfect meeting of Manolos and mermaids — and that's a combo we can certainly get behind.
