In local news today, a genius 17-year-old figured out how to avoid having to answer the same questions over and over again at her family's holiday gatherings. You know the ones. "Are you seeing anyone?" "What are you majoring in?" "Did you hear about cousin Mary Beth? She's getting her Ph.D, M.D., J.D., and having twins! Did you ever pay that parking ticket I saw you getting?" Arianna Simon was sick of them, too, so she created a handy pamphlet of FAQs that her relatives could read before approaching her.
"I was talking to my mom about how much I hate answering the same five questions over and over during the holidays, so she hinted that I just make a handout for my family," Simon said in an email to The Huffington Post. "She was beyond shocked when I actually followed through with her idea."

Simon's pamphlet helpfully provided her relatives with answers to questions about where she's going to college, whether or not she has a boyfriend, and how old she is. It also gently reminds her relatives about the wonders of getting older, which tends to coincide with getting taller. It's so weird how great aunts who surely must have done the same thing themselves can never remember when remarking upon how big you've gotten each year.
