Just in time for the holidays, Brooklyn's very own "Gingerbread House" is looking sweeter and sweeter: The Bay Ridge home, which was designed and built in 1917 by the architect James Sarsfield Kennedy, was first listed on the market in 2009 for $12 million. In May, it was lowered to $10.5 million. And, after its owners failed to find a buyer, it's now seen its rental price cut down to $26,000 a month.
The cost may still be steep, considering that the house has been for sale for nearly four years. But, how many people can say their property boasts stained-glass windows and original stone straight out of a Brothers Grimm tale? Sure, the facade may not actually
