Emma Stone Looks Chic Even When She's Schlepping

Yesterday marked Emma Stone's big opening night on Broadway, and she couldn't have looked more psyched about it as she arrived at the Studio 54 Theater in Times Square. She also couldn't have looked more stylish — especially considering that she was juggling a backpack, a yoga mat, and a coffee thermos (can you imagine how much caffeine it takes to star in Cabaret night after night?). Stone may be a Broadway breakout, but she's certainly not too much of a diva to lug around her own stuff.
Covering up any traces of pre-show jitters with oval, cat-eye sunglasses and a cozy knit beanie, she paired her tweed Maje coat and omnipresent Rag & Bone skinny jeans with Loeffler Randall cognac ankle boots. Mixing black with brown can be a point of contention, but Stone was successful because the tortoise-shell frames and colorblock hat seamlessly incorporate the two neutral hues, making the unexpected combo a cinch to pull off. Such a cinch, in fact, that you could pull it off, too — shop the look here.

Her Loeffler Randall shoes totally match her hair, which proves that Emma Stone thinks of everything. And, she achieves the delicate balance between a comfortable, practical getup and a chic first-day-of-work look. She may be making her grand debut on Broadway, but Ms. Stone still has to schlep all those bags across town — like a real New Yorker, Rag & Bone jeans and all.
