Inside Amy Schumer Can Finally Say This Word Uncensored

During an Inside Amy Schumer panel in New York City on Saturday, head writer and executive producer Jessi Klein was excited to share with the audience one of the show's victories. "We can say pussy now!" she announced.
Dan Powell, another executive producer for the comedian's show, campaigned for the uncensored use of the word on Comedy Central. His argument was that the word "dick" aired uncensored, so why not the word "pussy?" The network's standards indicated it was alright to use "dick" if it was in direct reference to a body part.

"Halfway through the first season, we started to realize that a lot of the show was addressing women's issues and gender politics," Powell told the audience. He wrote a letter to Comedy Central's brass and convinced them of the inequality in the network's standards. As a result, pussy prevailed.
The inaugural use of "pussy" sans bleeping appears in the episode "Acting Off-Camera," in which Schumer agrees to do the voiceover of an animated character that has an exposed vagina. "My character has a pussy," she remarks in the clip. One small word for woman, one giant leap for womankind. (Vulture)
